Burglar Rams Car Through Door Of Dealership, Steals Another Car
The suspect(s) reportedly used a car to bust through the service garage door and then drove another car out of the Downers Grove dealership.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL --- A car was stolen from a dealership in Downers Grove after a burglar apparently rammed another car through the garage door of a service area. Police say the burglary took place at Pugi Mazda at 1850 Ogden Ave. between Saturday night and Monday morning.
According to a police report, the suspect or suspects got into the dealership's service area by way of a window on the overhead garage. Once inside, they got into a Mazda 3 that was parked in a bay and used into to drive through the garage door.
Police say the Mazda was left running just outside the door and sustained damage when the offender(s) drove a 2012 Audi Q5 out of the service garage and rear-ended the Mazda before fleeing the scene.
