Burglars Break Into Sally Beauty Supply In Downers Grove
Police say the burglars stole hundreds of dollars worth of hair clippers.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove police are investigating a break-in and burglary that took place at Sally Beauty Supply Sunday. Police arrived at the scene at 46 Ogden Ave. around 5 a.m. to find the glass door to the business had been smashed and was partially open.
The incident took place at approximately 4:40 a.m., according to a police report. A store manager told police that a shelf behind the register that held upscale Andis hair clippers had been ransacked and all the clippers were gone.
At press time, police did not have an exact number of how many hair clippers were stolen, but said that each one is valued between $80 and $200.
