Cadence Kitchen & Co. Sets Sights For 2018 Open In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove diners who have been longing to sit down to a meal at Lemon Tree Grocer since it closed will be glad to know that the space will be occupied by a new restaurant run by the same team. Cadence Kitchen & Co. is eyeing a spring 2018 open date as they overhaul the 5105 Mochel Dr. venue to shift its focus on a completely new concept and dining experience.

Photos on the Lemon Tree Grocer Facebook page show that the restaurateurs have gutted the interior at Lemon Tree Grocer and are quickly working to redesign it as Cadence Kitchen & Co. The new restaurant's motto is "Good beats. Great eats," which teases that there will likely be live entertainment for diners to enjoy.

Unlike the setup at Lemon Tree Grocer, here won't be any retail sales at Cadence Kitchen & Co. Instead, its owners and chefs are crafting an new menu menu that will include a signature Cadence burger and other inventive eats. The new restaurant plans to serve draft beer, wine, and cocktails and will feature an outdoor seating area so you can dine al fresco, just in time for the Cadence Kitchen & Co. spring opening.
