Cadillac Seville Vanishes From Residential Driveway

A 2002 Cadillac Seville vanished from a Downers Grove driveway sometime before 8:10 a.m. Aug. 23.

Police said the owner of the car came to the station to report the car stolen from his driveway in the 7000 block of Creekside Drive.

The last time the owner saw the car was the night before, when he went to a friend’s house. The owner also told police that his niece was the last person to drive the car.

The car had some minor scratches on the sides. The owner paid the full amount of $8,000 when he purchased the car.

The owner told police the same thing happened to him three years ago when his car was stolen from his driveway. Police checked reports but had no record of the incident.
