The Downers Grove Historical Society has named Richard J. Kulovany as the 2026 Historian of the Year.His contributions span a broad spectrum of efforts to preserve the Village's architectural and natural heritage and include past leadership roles with Friends of the Edwards House, the Pierce Downer Heritage Alliance, and the Downers Grove Village Council.He is currently in his 8th
year serving on the board of the Downers Grove Historical Society.

We’re teasing summer with a whimsical preview of what’s next. Think full color, abundant textures, and the freshest stems we can find. We’ll be working with early-season roses, lush hydrangea, and a vibrant mix of "pre-summer" beauties.
Whether you’re a floral pro or don't know a tulip from a turnip, come hang out, design something gorgeous, and maybe make a few new friends. At Walden, we don't take ourselves too seriously—we just take our flowers beautifully.

Inviting all crafters! We invite you to join us at Country in the Park to show off and sell your handicrafts in Wandschnieder Park. All work must be original and handmade by the vendor. All spaces (8x10) are $12 and include one table and 2 chairs. Spaces have a high possibility of being in the direct sun—tents are recommended (8x10). One of the nation’s most impactful Catholic youth gatherings, the Steubenville Joliet Youth Conference, will return to Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, from June 26–28, 2026. Hosted in partnership with the Diocese of Joliet, Franciscan University of Steubenville, and Partnership for Youth, the conference will welcome thousands of high school teens for a transformative weekend of worship, dynamic speakers, and sacramental encounters.
The Steubenville Youth Conferences—held at 19 locations across North America—exist to evangelize, equip, and empower young people to become joyful disciples of Christ. The Joliet conference is one of the region’s most anticipated summer faith events.

I became a general partner with Edward Jones in 2020. I take a very personalized approach to financial advising. My branch team includes Joyce Marzo. We take the time to learn what is important to our clients and I tailor a strategy to help them achieve their goals. Together we are committed to providing our clients and business partners exceptional service. In my practice, I typically work with three generations of families, helping them navigate life's financial challenges. As a marathoner, I have completed multiple races, including the Chicago Marathon, and I have found that the discipline and focus required for long-distance running has helped me in other areas of my life.
