Car Burglarized, Laptop Stolen In Downers Grove: Police

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove Police are looking for a suspect or suspects who broke into a resident's car and stole their laptop. The incident took place sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday in the 6500 block of Main Street, according to police.

Police say the victim parked their car in a lot outside of her apartment complex. The victim told police she believes she locked her vehicle before heading inside her home.

When the victim returned to her car, she saw that a black Northface backpack that contained a MacBook Pro had been stolen, according to police.

Police say they did not find any signs of forced entry during an investigation.
