Car Stolen From Parking Lot Of Business In Westmont

WESTMONT, IL --- Police in Westmont are investigating the theft of an auto that was stolen while it was parked in the lot of a business. The theft took place on Jan. 1 in the 6200 block of Cass Avenue, according to a police report.

Police say that just before 10 p.m., the suspect or suspects got into a car that had been parked in the lot with the keys left in the ignition. They then reportedly drove off in an unknown direction.

A description of the vehicle was not provided, but Westmont police say the total loss was estimated at $15,000.
