Car Stolen On Prince Street In Downers Grove
The victim told police they left the car unattended while they went to a friend's house.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police are investigating a car theft that took place overnight in Downers Grove Thursday. The car was stolen in the 4700 block of Prince Street, according to a police report.
The victim told police that they left their 2009 Honda Accord unlocked and unattended around 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 and returned at just after midnight to discover the car had been stolen. According to police the victim had their keys with them when they parked the car on Prince Street and went to a friend's house.
Police say the total estimated loss was $7,000.
