Carseat, Diaper Bag Stolen From Car At Buy Buy Baby

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are investigating a burglary in which a carseat was stolen from a vehicle at Buy Buy Baby. The incident took place Tuesday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to police.

The victim told police that she parked in the maternity spot and entered the store around 6 p.m. She added that she believes she dropped her keys sometime after that.

When she exited the store around 8 p.m., the woman noticed that her car had been moved from the designated maternity spot. She was finally able to locate her car near Portillo's, police say.

According to police, the suspect(s) took a Maxicosi car seat, a white Stokke diaper bag, and $300 cash was missing from the vehicle.
