Cellphone Stolen From Locker At XSport Fitness In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Downers Grove police are investigating a report of a theft in which a cellphone was stolen from inside a locker at XSport Fitness. The theft took place on the afternoon of Feb. 3 at the gym located at 3200 Finley, according to a police report.

The victim told police that he secured his belongings in a locker with a combination lock when he started working out around 3 p.m. When he got back to his locker, he noticed that it had been unlocked and that his blue Samsung Galaxy phone had been stolen.

Police say the victim activated an app that located the phone in Lombard around 4 p.m.
