Christ Church Alternative Christmas Market Offers Gifts of Hope

Oak Brook, Illinois – Imagine not only struggling to provide warm clothes for your children but also dental care or clean drinking water.

Items purchased through Christ Church’s Spirit Village help service organizations fulfill real needs like these to local and international families. Spirit Village is an alternative Christmas marketplace scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7 at Christ Church in Oak Brook at 501 Oak Brook Rd.

The event showcases hundreds of Christ Church’s partners who provide crucial support to help protect, uplift and transform the lives of those most in need domestically and globally.

Attendees can make contributions toward gifts that represent a real need and share that joy and love with people in their lives.

Gifts are used to lift the spirits and address the well-being of people near and far and help them experience the love and blessing of Christmas. From food, clothes, and clean bedding for children to counseling, medical transportation or water for a village, these gifts have an immediate and long-term impact on recipients.

This event is family friendly and features live music, treats and activities for children, including an indoor petting zoo, face painting, balloons and crafts.
