Classic Cinemas Announces Wednesday Morning Movie Series Lineup! Fun Summer Series Runs June 10th- August 5th

Downers Grove, IL – Classic Cinemas has announced the movie lineup for the 2015 Wednesday Morning Movie Series! As in previous years, the popular weekly series will run each Wednesday from June 10th through August 5th. All of the films are rated PG, ensuring a family-friendly experience for every child. Doors will open at 9 AM, with the movies starting at 10 AM. General admission is $1 per person. Games and costumed characters will be on hand to entertain the children before show time.

Reservations will be taken in advance for groups of 15 or more at most Classic Cinemas locations, with a special group rate of only $5.50 per person. This includes admission, Kiddie Combo and reserved seats to allow groups to be seated together.

June 10 – “Mr. Peabody and Sherman” (2014/92 min)

The time-travelling adventures of an advanced canine and his adopted son as they endeavor to fix a time rift they created. Voiced by Ty Burrell and Max Charles.

June 17 – “The Boxtrolls” (2014/96 min)

A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. Starring the voices of Ben Kingsley and Jarred Harris.

June 24 – “How to Train Your Dragon II” (2014/102 min)

When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Voiced by Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerald Butler and Craig Ferguson.

July 1 – “Paddington” (2014/95 min)

A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offer him a temporary haven. Starring Tim Downie, Madeleine Worrall and Lottie Steer.

July 8 – “Penguins of Madagascar” (2014/92 min)

Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private join forces with undercover organization The North Wind to stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we know it.

Featuring the voice talents of Tom McGrath, Chris Miller and John Malkovich.

July 15 – “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” (2014/98 min)

Larry spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever. Starring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson.

July 22 – “The Book of Life” (2014/95 min)

Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, embarks on an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where he must face his greatest fears. Voiced by Diego Luna, Ron Perlman, Zoe Saldana and Channing Tatum.

July 29 – “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” (2015/92 min)

When a diabolical pirate above the sea steals the secret Krabby Patty formula, SpongeBob and his nemesis Plankton must team up in order to get it back.

Featuring the vocal talents of Tim Conway and Eddie Deezen.

August 5 – Surprise film!
