Cops Investigate Car Burglary At Shop And Save In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Police in Downers Grove are investigating a robbery that took place at Shop and Save Wednesday afternoon. The victim told police that she had left her vehicle locked, but police say there were no signs of forced entry.

According to police, the victim got out of her car and went into the grocery store around 3:44 p.m. When she came back to the car just before 4:50 p.m,, she noticed that someone had "several items have been rummaged through.

The victim told police that no items appeared to have been stolen.
