• John "Jack" B. Galbraith, 96, of Downers Grove. The former U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer was a survivor of the sinking of the aircraft carrier USS WASP-CV-7 on Sept. 15, 1942, in the South Pacific during the campaign for Guadalcanal. Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

• Anne M. Kosell(née Stupak), 90, of Lemont, passed away Oct. 27. Funeral services will be held Oct. 30.
