DG North Girls Swim and Dive Team Tie York HS, 93-93

Scoring wins in 10 out of 12 events, the Downers Grove North Trojans tied York High School 93-93 in the first home meet of the season Thursday night.

Double event winners for the Trojans were Senior Emily Albrecht in the 50 free and 100 back; Sophmore Lindsay Mathys in the 200 and 100 free and Senior Gabriele Serniute in the 200 IM and 100 Breast. Freshman Ellie Benge finished first in the 100 Fly and Sophmore Emily Augment won the 1 meter diving.

The 200 yard medley relay team of Cassandra Candel, Gabriele Serniute, Ellie Benge and Emily Albrecht came in first as well as the 400 yard freestyle relay of Emily Albrecht, Ellie Benge, Cassandra Candel and Lindsay Mathys.
