District 58 To Host Workshop On Cyber Safety For Children
The workshop will be held Feb. 13 at Herrick Middle School.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove Grade School District 58 will host a workshop about cyber safety for children on Feb. 13 at Herrick Middle School. The event, led by child cyber crime expert Detective Rich Wistocki, will cover such topics as cyberbullying, sexting, and monitoring what is on your child's phone and computer.
During the day on Feb. 13, Detective Wistocki will conduct a similar session for children throughout District 58. That way the messaging will align with what parents learn at their session.
Detective Wistocki has spent decades in law enforcement and worked for more than 20 years as the Naperville Police Department's internet crimes investigator.
