NYC-based Cello Rock Band BREAK OF REALITY Give Performance at THE CLARENCE JOHNSON AUDITORIUM of DOWNERS GROVE NORTH HIGH SCHOOL

With millions of YouTube views, tens of millions of Pandora streams, and countless live performances around the world, cello rock band Break of Reality has become an international sensation, shining new light on what can be done with the cello.  Break of Reality will be Music Ambassadors for the U.S. State Department, traveling to Central Asia from February 12-March 21, 2015, to give clinics and concerts in Kazakstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

While the band’s members are devoted to touring and recording, they share an equal passion for educational outreach, choosing to perform and educate at public schools around the U.S. “We learned to play our instruments through public school music programs.  If it weren’t for these music programs, I don’t think Break of Reality would exist today,” says Ivan Trevino, a founding member of Break of Reality.
