Downers Grove Hosts Tree Lighting Ceremony Nov. 28
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m. Mayor Martin Tully will lead the count down to the lighting.
More than 1,000 handmade ornaments adorn the giant tree at the Main Street Train Station, and on Nov. 28 thousands of small bright lights will join them in welcoming the holiday season to Downers Grove.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m., according to the village. Mayor Martin Tully will lead the count down to the lighting.
Local choirs and scout troops will lead the singing of the season’s carols, and refreshments will be served from 4 to 5 p.m. in the train station.
