Downers Grove Man Wins $2 Million Lottery Prize
Chase Knapp hit the jackpot at a Villa Park gas station.
A Downers Grove man was running wedding errands for his fiancé when he bought Illinois Lottery tickets from three different retailers.
“The third stop was the charm with the winning ticket!” said Chase Knapp, 33, who won $2 million after scratching a 50X The Cash lottery ticket.
Knapp bought the winning ticket at Villa Park Mobil, 1 E St. Charles Road in Villa Park. Villa Park Mobil received a $20,000 bonus, 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Knapp plans to invest the money and use part of the win for his wedding in the fall.
His advised other lottery players not to give up.
