Downers Grove North Boys Swim and Dive Team Host Trojan Invite

The Downers Grove North Boys Swim and Dive Team hosted the Trojan Invite on Jan. 23 and 24.

Naperville Centralʼs Varsity team placed first overall followed by Lyons Township in second place. LT won the Fresh/Soph competition, with Naperville Central coming in second. While the DGN Varsity swim team placed 8th overall, there were many highlights for the Trojans during the meet. The DGN Fresh/Soph swim team placed 3rd overall, helped by a 1st place record-breaking 200 yard medley relay.

Trojans Fr. Ben Ellstrom, Fr. Jack Costello, So. Matt Benge and So. John Pitelka set a new fresh/soph team record in the event with a time of 1:47.14. Freshman Lukas Elisha took first place in the Fresh/Soph Diving competition.
