Downers Grove North Girls Swimming Wins Trojan Team Challenge
Downers Grove North finished with 516 points outpacing second place Benet Academy by 139 points.

Downers Grove North won 11 of the 12 events to finish in first place at the Trojan Team Challenge held at Downers Grove North High School on September 27, 2014.

Sophomores Lindsay Mathys and Emily Aument set meet records in the 200 freestyle and 1 meter diving, respectively. Mathys (100 and 200 freestyle), along with seniors Emily Albrecht (50 freestyle and 100 backstroke) and Gabriele Serniute (200 IM and 100 breaststroke), won two individual events and participated in two championship relays. Freshman Ellie Benge won the 500 freestyle as well as participating in two winning relays.
