Downers Grove Police Launch Community Survey
The survey will remain open through Aug. 31.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Police Department has launched a survey for community members.
The survey's purpose is for the police department to "determine the concerns and views of our citizens and how the police can best serve the needs of the community," according to a Facebook post from Downers Grove police.
Questions on the survey address issues that include:

- Overall competence of agency employees
- Perception of officers' attitudes and behavior
- Concerns over safety and security with the agency's service area as a whole
- Citizen recommendations and suggestions for improvement
