Downers Grove Sees 171 New Coronavirus Cases In 1 Week

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Downers Grove has increased by 171 cases in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).

As of Dec. 29, the village had reported 2,667 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 2,838 as of Jan. 5.

In nearby Westmont, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 68 cases. As of Dec. 29, there had been 1,471 cases reported in Westmont. The total number of cases reported in Westmont as of Jan. 5 was 1,539.
