Downers Grove South Girls Cross Country Finishes Third at IHSA Regional Meet
The Mustangs were led by Amanda Thate (Sr) who earned All-Regional honors with her 5th place finish (18:37).

The Girls Cross Country team finished 3rd out of 9 teams at the IHSA Regional meet on Saturday, which qualified the team for next week’s IHSA Sectional meet.
The Mustangs were led by Amanda Thate (Sr) who earned All-Regional honors with her 5th place finish (18:37). Katie Stapleton (So) was close behind her in 6th place (18:49). Mary Beine (Sr, 14th, 19:24), Jill Boyle (Jr, 16th, 19:28), and Maggie Seitz (Jr, 20th, 19:48) rounded out the 5 DGS scoring postions. Michaela Hackbarth (Jr, 23rd, 20:01) and Abby Kargol (Sr, 24th, 20:02) also competed.
