Dozens Of Colognes Stolen From Walgreens In Downers Grove

Police say the suspects stole more than $2,500 in fragrances.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL --- Police are looking for suspects who stole dozens of colognes and perfumes from a Walgreens in Downers Grove Friday. The suspects came into the store at 6240 Belmont at approximately 2:15 p.m. and left with 41 bottles of fragrances from inside a glass display case, according to police.

The victim told police that when she and the store manager came into work Monday they noticed a glass pane from the fragrance display case was on the floor. The employee told police she then noticed several bottles of perfume were missing, including Versace Eros, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Armani Acqua di Gio, and more.

The total estimated loss was $2,515.19.
