Dr. Donald J. Provenzale, Jr. Ascends to President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry
The American Academy of Implant Dentistry announced Dr. Donald J. Provenzale Jr. as its new President.

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) has announced the election of Dr. Donald J. Provenzale, Jr., D.D.S. of Downers Grove, Illinois, as its new President.
Dr. Provenzale is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and is an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
He is a nationally recognized lecturer, presenting on dental implant techniques, medical considerations, and emerging developments in oral implantology. Dr. Provenzale is the owner and director of ChewsWisely Dental Implant Center in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Dr. Provenzale earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry and completed a one-year medical residency in Anesthesiology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
As President of the AAID, Dr. Provenzale will help lead the organization’s mission to advance the science and practice of implant dentistry through education, credentialing, research, and advocacy. Under his leadership, the Academy will continue supporting the growth of implant dentistry and the professional development of practitioners around the world.
