DuPage County Fair Brings Butterflies, Carnival Rides and Rachel Platten To Wheaton

The DuPage County Fair begins Wednesday, July 26, and runs through Sunday, July 30 with rodeos, demolition derbies and carnival rides.

WHEATON, IL — Residents will pack the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 26, for the start of this year's DuPage County Fair. The farm animals, funnel cakes, and live entertainment are slated to last through Sunday, July, 30 at 2015 Manchester Road. Headlining the grandstand entertainment is pop star Rachel Platten.

This year marks 63 years since the first DuPage County fair. In that time fair officials have kept improving the event to offer more rides, more exhibits, and more events and contests. One of the highlights this year is a multi-tiered butterfly garden for guests to explore.

After seeing the animal exhibits and making furry friends in the petting zoo, kids can ride ponies or camels, milk a virtual "cow," and observe baby chicks as they hatch. Carnival rides will light up the midway each afternoon.
