DuPage Medical Group Now Offering Video Visits to Patients

DuPage Medical Group launched video visits today for non-urgent and non-emergency conditions

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.—DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, launched video visits today for non-urgent and non-emergency conditions. The video visits are available to primary care patients through DMG’s online patient portal and mobile app, MyChart.

Prior to making video visits available to patients, DMG conducted a focused pilot program over a period of several months, in order to assure quality and effectiveness. All pertinent health information obtained from video visit sessions will become a part of the patient’s medical record, and DMG MyChart users can conduct them from virtually anywhere within the state of Illinois. The cost of a video visit is $50 per visit.

“At DMG, we stand for physician-led care and we continue to place a high premium on convenience,” said DMG President Dr. Paul Merrick. “That means we give our patients the ultimate access to quality care with online scheduling, email visits and now video visits. We look forward to connecting with patients when and where they need it most, including from the convenience of their home or office.”
