Australian wines are respected and highly desirable around the world. Australia has had vineyards since the late 1700's but it wasn't until the late 1950's that Australian winemakers started focusing on table wines. By the 1980's Australian wines were commanding the attention of the rest of the world and in 1999 it became the world's seventh largest producer of wine.

Glide through the grapevines of Australia and join Rebecca Loewy of Old Bridge Cellars as she hosts:

- a comparative Shiraz tasting from various sub-regions throughout Australia

- classic white Australian varietals

- an in-depth look at the major wine producing appellations, their distinct characteristics, styles and unique winemaking methods that set them apart.

Light hors d’oeuvres are included.
