Spain vs. France Wine Tasting at Mon Ami Gabi

The gloves are coming off for another round of the hugely popular Spain vs. France wine tasting and food event at Mon Ami Gabi Oak Brook (260 Oakbrook Center) on April 24, from 6 – 8 p.m. In the end, only one cuisine will reign supreme.

During the evening, guests will have the chance to flex their foodie muscles and judge 25 varietals of wine and delectable French and Spanish food offerings from Executive Chef Bruce William of Mon Ami Gabi Oak Brook and Executive Chef Tim Cottini of Café Ba-Ba-Reeba. With culinary delights including rich Lobster Tempura with Nispera Orange Chili Sauce, creamy Whipped Cana de Cabra Cheese with Fig Marmalade, Mini Croque Monsieurs with Mustard Mayo and melt-in-your-mouth Braised Short Ribs with Pomme Puree, making a decision will be tough no doubt.

Between flavorful sips of red and white, wine connoisseurs will also be on hand to lend their expertise. While discovering new favorites, if guests happen to find a varietal they just can’t live without, they can even place an order for a bottle to enjoy in the comfort of their own home. Cost of the event is $25 per person plus tax and gratuity.
