DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A fire broke out in a home in Downers Grove early Wednesday, displacing its residents and temporarily rerouting traffic in the area. Fire officials say no one was harmed during the blaze, which damaged the residence in the 3900 block of Washington.
Fire crews responded to the call at approximately 6:44 a.m., according to an email from Marsha Giesler, who handles public information and education for the Downers Grove Fire Department.
