Man Critical After Fire Destroys Westmont Apartments: FD
The blaze left 10 people temporarily without homes.

WESTMONT, IL — A man is in critical condition after a he was pulled from a fire that broke out in a multi-unit apartment complex in Westmont early Friday. The fire started just after 6:30 a.m. at the Willowview Apartment Complex, located at 625 W. 65th St., and left 10 people temporarily displaced from their homes.
Fire crews arrived at the scene to find smoke and fire coming from the south side of the six-unit building, according to a press release. The victim was discovered during a search of the premises and officials say no one else was found inside of the building.

The Westmont Fire Department says the fire was extinguished within 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
