Glitter Bomb Mailed To Downers Grove Business Owner Explodes In Her Face: Cops
The business owner told police she thinks the glitter bomb was sent by a former employee.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Downers Grove business owner had a glitter bomb explode in her face when she opened a package that was labeled from Posters R Us, according to police. The glitter bomb was sent to her business in the 1100 block of 31st St. on Oct. 10. The explosion of glitter triggered an adverse reaction on the skin of her face, the victim told police.
After the glitter bomb burst, the woman looked inside and found a message with the words "You have been glitter bombed" and a reference to a website of a company called Ruin Days, Suburban Life reports. The company promises to "ruin your enemy's day" by shipping such items as "annoying sand," "smelly, stupid glitter poop," and "other inconvenient items.
According to Suburban Life, the business owner told police she thinks a former employee may have shipped the glitter bomb.
