Go Snowshoeing At Lyman Woods In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — When it comes to fun winter activities, snowshoeing isn't always the first thing that comes to mind. If you've never gone snowshoeing, you'll be glad to now that you can rent a pair of snowshoes and hit the trails at Lyman Woods in Downers Grove.

Lyman Woods offers both independent showshoeing and guided hikes for children and adults when there is least four inches of snow accumulation.

To rent snowshoes, visit the Lyman Woods Interpretive Center, but keep in mind that snowshoes are available on a first-come first-served basis. It costs just $6 to rent a pair of snowshoes for three hours and Lyman Woods requires a valid credit card for a deposit.
