The annual Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival will be held this Friday through Sunday.
The Annual Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival: Going for the Gold will feature 40 unique ice sculptures, including Olympic Rings, Mickey Mouse, Skiing Chef, Snowboarder and more. The ice sculptures will line downtown Downers Grove Friday through Sunday, according to the Downtown Downers Grove press release.
Residents can watch a live ice carving demonstration under the lights on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m.
The fun will continue on Saturday and Sunday with live ice carving demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 3p p.m., a performance by Radio Disney Chicago, a Ronald McDonald Magic Show, Pancake Breakfast at First Congregational Church, a special movie Ground Hog Day at Tivoli Theatre (admission is $5.00 and proceeds will benefit Noah’s Hope), and shopping and dining specials throughout the downtown.
