Iterate.ai is developing a Machine Learning script within Interplay®
Every year about 805,000 Americans have a heart attack..

Heart attacks are attributed to a variety of factors, including diet, activity levels, smoking status and genetic predisposition. However, heart attacks can be brushed off as minor acid reflux or sore muscles, and by the time a person’s symptoms worsen to the point they go to the hospital, the situation can worsen. A heart attack that shows little to no symptoms is what’s known as a silent heart attack.
The Cleveland Clinic estimates that silent heart attacks make up as many as 50% to 80% of all heart attacks. This can be unnerving. However, Artificial Intelligence technology to monitor heart attacks is currently being developed. Additionally, Iterate.ai is developing a Machine Learning script within Interplay® to take in basic health information such as age, sex, blood pressure, serum cholesterol, max heart rate, and other lab-measured inputs to predict a person’s risk of suffering a heart attack.
While this is not intended as an in-clinic official procedure yet, it shows the increasing capabilities to draw reasonable common-sense inferences from common data points. The technology to identify when a person is currently suffering from a heart attack is not a futuristic idea, but the probable reality in healthcare technology. This is especially true with smart watches becoming more commonly used by people.

"One of the challenges with heart attack assessment and prevention is the ability to do early capture, share and analyze the data. With the pervasive adoption of wearable technologies especially smart watches, advanced AI models that detect heart attacks can run efficiently in these devices which can prioritize user privacy by not having the need to export the data externally" explains Co-Founder and CTO of Iterate.ai, Brian Sathianathan.
Iterate.ai’s drag-and-drop, low-code AI environment empowers companies to develop and deploy digital solutions faster, enabling enterprises to go to market 17x faster with their digital initiatives. They have deployed at scale with several global enterprises, such as Pampered Chef, Ulta Beauty, Driven Brands, Jockey, and others.
