Chicago has many adult recreational sports teams and it’s more than just about staying active and competing. Participants play for enjoyment and social interactions, and surveys have even suggested that adults who participate in team sports have a decreased risk of depression.

But many adult rec teams are in need of new gear, uniforms and more. • A $5,000 check to pick up the tab on league fees and new equipment
