Lineup Unveiled For 2022 Summer Concert Series At Fishel Park
The weekly concert series kicks off May 24 at Fishel Park. See which bands are set to take the stage this year.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — It's a sure sign that summer's right around the corner, now that lineup has been unveiled for the 2022 Summer Concert Series at Fishel Park. The weekly series kicks off May 24 and features tribute bands, rock music, funk sets and more, on Tuesday nights through Aug. 16.
Here's a look at the lineup for the 2022 Summer Concert Series:
May 24: Petty Cash playing Tom Petty tribute music

May 31: The Jolly Ringwalds playing 1980s tunes
June 7: Wild Daisy playing country music

June 14: Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute playing ABBA tribute music
June 21: The Blooze Brothers playing Blues Brothers tribute tunes
June 28: Serendipity playing pop and rock music
July 5: Rosie and the Rivets playing retro rock and roll songs
July 12: Chicago Tribute Anthology playing Chicago-inspired tribute music
July 19: The Four C Notes playing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute tunes
July 26: Billy Elton playing Billy Joel and Elton John tribute music
Aug. 2: The Student Body playing cover songs from the 1980s and 1990s
Aug. 9: Second Hand Soul Band playing soul, funk and Motown music
Aug. 16: BBI playing pop and rock covers
The festivities start at 6 p.m. with food, beer and wine sales. Performers take the stage at 7 p.m.
Food trucks will be on hand to help concertgoers stay fueled up. The following food trucks and vendors will make an appearance at the 2022 Summer Concert Series:
- Burger Buzz
- Carney Bros. (funnel cakes, Italian ice)
- Dope Sandwiches
- Every Day's a Sundae
- Grumpy Gaucho
- Go Doggy Run Mobile Food Stand
- Wells Street Popcorn
Darby Beasley, Community Events and Sponsorship Specialist for Downers Grove Park District said in a news release, “Downers Grove Park District is excited about the summer ahead and we look forward to offering the community some new additions this season."
