DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Park District has its sighs set on summer. The district recently unveiled its lineup for the 2023 Summer Concert Series, which kicks off May 23.
Here's the schedule for the series, which offers free weekly shows on Tuesdays at Fishel Park, except on July 4:
May 23: One Night Band

Aug. 15: Valius
The shows kick off at 7 p.m. at Fishel Park, 1036 Grove St. Doors open at 6 p.m., so concert goers are encouraged to come early with their lawn chairs and blankets to snag a good viewing spot. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the concerts.
