Man Charged With Cocaine, Amphetamine Possession In Westmont: Cop

WESTMONT, IL -- A Westmont man is in custody after police arrested him on multiple outstanding warrants, including discharge of a firearm from an incident in February. Byron Taylor, 29, of the 1100 block of Florence Ave., has been charged with possession of amphetamine, possession of cocaine, and possession of a firearm and ammunition without an FOID card, in addition to the aggravated discharge of a firearm charge.

Police say they took Taylor into custody Saturday withe help from the Woodridge Police Department. Taylor also had two other warrants for domestic abuse, according to a police summary.

He is currently being held at DuPage County Jail and is set to appear in court again on May 11.
