Man Dissatisfied With Freshness of Vanilla Long John Steals $20 from Donut Shop
Store manager said the same thing happened in August, cops say.

A man demanded $20 back from an employee at a Downers Grove doughnut shop after he complained the long john he ordered was stale, police said.
An employee was working the drive-thru window at Dunkin’ Donuts, at 522 Ogden Ave, when a red Chevy Malibu with three men drove up around 12:54 p.m. Sept. 11.
Police said the car stopped at the rear driver’s side window. A man wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigarette leaned out the window and handed the employee a twenty dollar bill after ordering a doughnut.

As the employee began making $19.04 in change, the man handed the long john back complaining that it was hard.
The employee disputed his claim, but gave him his $20 back. The man told her she only returned $1 and got angry, scaring the employee. She gave him $20 and the red Chevy drove away.
