Man on Parole Arrested for Downers Grove Home Burglary

Downers Grove police arrested a man in connection with a March 6 burglary in the 4100 block of Glendenning Road.

Patrick L Manning, age 44, was arrested March 21 from his home in the 1600 block of South 18th Avenue, Maywood, according to Downers Grove police.

Manning is on parole for residential burglary, and he was charged with one count of attempted residential burglary, according to police. He is held at the DuPage County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

During the March 6 home burglary, a resident told police a man forced his way in through the back door of the house. The man ran away when he saw the home’s residents. Officers responding to the call couldn’t find the suspect after he fled the area, according to police.
