Mayor Martin Tully Named Governmental Leader of 2015

Downers Grove Mayor Martin Tully was named the 2015 Governmental Leader of the Year by the the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

This award is presented every year to ”a person who understands municipal burdens, supports important municipal legislation or initiatives, and seeks solutions to municipal concerns,” according to the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference.

Tully served as president of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference in 2014-15, and he currently serves as the District 3 municipal representative on the DuPage County Stormwater Management Committee. He is also a member of the DuPage County Health Department’s Mosquito Abatement Task Force.
