DOWNERS GROVE, IL — MeMe's Candy and Cards will host its grand opening Jan. 30 in Downers Grove.
The shop bills itself as an "old-fashioned candy store." The owners of MeMe's Candy and Cards announced the grand opening via Facebook, writing, "We couldn't be more excited to share this sweet little dream with you. This shop is inspired by childhood memories, trips to the candy store, and the love of my MeMe -- and now we get to create those memories with you."
The grand opening celebration will be held MeMe's Candy and Cards, 4927 Main St., on Jan. 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festivities include a raffle and prizes.
