Mobil Gas Station Robbed In Downers Grove

Police say the suspect passed a note that read, "Please open the drawer and give me the money and nobody will get hurt" late Thursday.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove police are investigating a robbery that took place at the Mobil gas station located at 2181 63rd Street late Thursday. Police say that around 10:40 p.m. the suspect demanded cash from the register via a note that read "Please open the drawer and give me the money and nobody will get hurt," according to a recent police report.

The cashier complied and the suspect fled, heading south from the gas station, police say.

The suspect is described as a white woman around 20 or 25 years old, standing approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighing around 110 pounds. She is also described as having shoulder-length bleached blond hair.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black cap, a gray knitted jacket, black pants, black shoes, light-colored gloves and a black face mask with a white design on it.
