More Than $8K In Items Stolen From T-Mobile In Downers Grove
The burglar(s) stole 7 iPhones, 2 Apple watches, and more items.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL --- A T-Mobile store in Downers Grove was the most recent victim of a string of phone store burglaries in which thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen. Police say more than $8,000 in merchandise was stolen from the T-Mobile store located at 66 Ogden Ave. early Saturday.
Police arrived at the T-Mobile store shortly after midnight in response to an alarm that had been triggered. Once law enforcement got to the scene they found a cement rock that they believe the suspect or suspects used to shatter glass on the store and gain entry.
According to T-Mobile staff, the following items were stolen during the burglary:

- Two Apple watches
- 7 iPhones
- 3 LG phones
- JBL speaker
The total loss was estimated at $8,191. Anyone who has information is urged to call Downers Grove Police at 630-434-5600.
