New Grocery Store to Occupy Former Michael's Location

A new grocery store is coming to Downers Grove to fill the void left by . Shop and Save Market, with five Chicagoland locations, will hopefully open a Downers Grove outpost this year.

A representative for Shop and Save wasn't exactly sure when the store is expecting to open, but he did say he'd have that information soon. The hope, it appears, is to open in the Fall, though nothing is certain.

Shop and Save Market currently has locations in Niles, Des Plaines, Schaumburg, Bridgeview and Chicago.
