New Pizza Place to Offer Free Food for a Year

Grand opening of Toppers Pizza this Saturday to reward first 50 customers with free food for a year.

Fans of pizza and new places to eat pizza may want to check out the grand opening of Toppers Pizza at Ogden and Fairview this Saturday. And if you show up early enough, you could eat there free for a year.

Toppers Pizza, a largely midwestern franchise operating out of Wisconsin, is set to open its Downers Grove location this Saturday, April 21, at 11 a.m., and the first 50 people in line will eat at the restaurant for free for a year.

According to franchise owner Robin Pearce, similar contests at other location openings in Chicago have seen people line up anywhere from 12 to 24 hours ahead of time.

The Downers Grove location will be the fourth Toppers location in Illinois, with two restaurants in Chicago and another in Dekalb. The exact address is 338 Ogden Ave.
