Person Found Dead From Apparent Suicide In Downers Grove Park: PD

DOWNERS GROVE, IL -- Downers Grove police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found in Hummer Park Thursday morning. A preliminary investigation indicates that the person died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the park, located at 4833 Fairview Ave., police said in an update on social media.

Police are working with the DuPage County Coroner to identify the deceased person. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Downers Grove Police Department at (630) 434-5600.
