Police Seek Owners Of Unclaimed Bikes In Downers Grove
Police say they will hold the unclaimed bikes until May 1 and then they will donate them to a nonprofit.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are looking for the owners of nearly two dozen unclaimed bikes that they've recovered. The bikes will be held until May 1, police say, then they will be donated to a local nonprofit organization.
Officials say the bikes have been held by the police department for the past six months.
Visit the Village of Downers Grove website to see if your bike is on the list of unclaimed bikes. If you think one of the bikes is yours, call Mary Wennerstrom at 630-434-5681.
